A beer-packed fridge in a commune in Bingen (near Mainz) inspired three friends to start brewing themselves. While acknowledging that there’s not really a set definition for craft beer, they took it on themselves to brew IPA’s, sours and all other kinds of beer with ‘Leidenschaft’ (look it up: https://translate.google.com/?sl=de&tl=en…). And also: they designed the best craft beer T-shirt in the world.

Who are these guys?

The name “Schwarze Rose” (Black Rose) originates from the shared apartment where the founders lived during the early days of their brewing journey. The apartment was affectionately nicknamed “Schwarze Rose,” and it became the birthplace of their brewing experiments and creative ideas. The name symbolizes their roots, camaraderie, and the spirit of collaboration that continues to define their brewery today.
