Objective

Be the first to get EXACT 50 points.

Rules

  • Mölkky is played with two or more players.
  • Players take turns trying to knock over the numbered poles with the throwing stick (the Mölkky)
  • After each turn, the poles are put back upright where they landed.
  • Starting lineup of the poles:

Scoring

  • If exactly one pole is knocked over, the number on this pole corresponds to the number of points scored.
  • If multiple poles are knocked over, the number of poles knocked over corresponds to the number of points scored.
  • The score of a player who throws more than 50 points is reduced to 25.
  • A pole is considered knocked over only if it has fallen completely to the ground.
  • A pole is not knocked over if it leans on another pole or the Mölkky (throwing stick).
  • A player who does not hit a pole for 3 consecutive turns is eliminated.
