Kaapse Brouwers are on a mission to brew ‘the best Rotterdam beer in the world’. And this year you can judge wether or not they succeeded. Our good friends Tsjomme and Etienne from Kaapse will gladly give you a taste of their modern beers with a rock solid classical base.
Who are these guys?
Tsjomme got his inspiration from working in London in a bar on Borough Market. Back in Rotterdam he met Menno Olivier (you know, the guy who also founded de Molen) and John Brus. Together they decided to brew the best Rotterdam beer in the world.
First off their beers were only available in selected bars in Rotterdam, but after a while the focus moved to retail. That’s why you can find their beers at Just in Beer in Groningen.
